The majority of this book is rather boring. It just feels like a day in the life of the protagonist. Every now and then, something odd or questionable will happen, but overall it doesn’t really get interesting until the very end. It’s unfortunate because the ending got me excited, only for the book to end a couple of minutes later and my excitement died with it.

I wouldn’t say I dislike the book, but at the same time, it’s hard to give a recommendation on it. This is one of those books I only recommend if you can get it cheap enough.

The narrator does an excellent job of bringing the characters to life. Most of all, the protagonist. He lends his voice well and makes him feel like a real person.
