Much like with book 2 in this series, the ending feels cheapened. It was a lazy copy/paste for book 2, but in book 3 it’s just insultingly lazy, uninspired, and predictable.

Other than the sorry excuse of an ending, this is easily the most compelling of these books so far. The mystery is based around the romance so the protagonists have a decent amount of time to get to know each other and build chemistry. While the who is answered, the characters have to prove it while trying to just live their lives.

The narrator is good overall, but I’m always going to knock points for people who mispronounce basic words. “Onvelope” isn’t a word. Envelopes are called envelopes because they envelop something.
