Did not finish! – Audiobook review only!

This is not a review of the story, I didn’t make it past chapter 2.

This book is the perfect example of why I can’t stand it when authors narrate their own stories. With the author’s accent and the horrible, hissy, scratchy, poor quality of the audio, I could barely understand anything he said. Occasionally his accent would make it difficult for me to tell what he’s trying to say. Other times it would be his mispronunciation of words.

What caused me to abandon this endeavor was the god-awful hissing that comes with the audiobook. The audio is just insufferably bad and after an obnoxiously loud hiss that made my damaged ear hurt, I gave up. I tried to give this story a fair shot, but this is unlistenable. I can’t comment on the story, so only take this review into consideration if you’re looking into the audiobook.
