DNF – Audiobook Only

I’ve made it clear in my reviews over the years how much I utterly loathe author-narrations. Audio narration is a skill, and if you can’t do it properly, don’t release sub-par products and then sell them to people. I lasted maybe 20~ minutes. The main character voice is alright, the male voices are terrible. They all sound the same. Worst of all, however, is the scene-setting. Every fucking line is read in the same monotone voice, and her pronunciation of certain words is wrong. I’m going to off myself if I have to sit through 12 hours of this lifeless bullshit with the author-narrator saying “woe-man” instead of “woman” every 15 – 20 seconds.
