This is one of those mystery novels that I find completely predictable. I enjoyed every bit of it, I wanted to see how things played out. But I had the basic mystery figured out early on.

The biggest complaint I have is the main character. Not only is she completely oblivious, but she’s also the type of person to throw a pity party for herself to then mope about how nobody showed up.

I can’t say more without spoilers, hell, even what I’ve said might spoil it if you don’t figure it out in the first hour.

The narrator of the audiobook is great overall. Her Canadian accent can be distracting at times, as she seemingly randomly puts extra emphasis on the letter o but doesn’t do it every time. On top of this, she reads every word one sentence at a time, leaving a pause after everyone. This can be awkward and make the dialogue and story sound unnatural.
