To start off with, I wasn’t aware that this took place over the events of all of the previous novels. I quite enjoyed that aspect, as it tied everything together and gave additional “behind the scenes” shots from those moments. I thought it was going to be a romance between these two characters alone and was pleasantly surprised to see other characters making appearances as well as combat and danger. It’s nice to have a bite-sized Etherya’s Earth romance.
As always, Devon Wilcox did a fantastic job of bringing Etherya’s Earth and its people to life.
