If you’re looking for straight-up smut, this isn’t the book for you.

I transitioned and before I did, most of my friends assumed I was gay. Some of them tried to make their move, but I shot them all down because I didn’t like men. I didn’t lose any friends over it. But that’s sadly not always the case, is it? This book is for those people. The ones who lost a cherished friend or lost years together because of a misunderstanding.

This story is short and sweet. It’s very light on the sex and focuses more on the romance and friendship aspects of the story. It bounces between 10 years past and present, which I always find confusing and annoying.

The narrator is excellent. She voiced The Sweetest Revenge, which I’ve also reviewed. There’s something about the way she says pussy that I always find amusing. I really can’t put my finger on why though.
