Note: I received this via. a Goodreads giveaway. I’m reviewing this of my own volition, I was not asked to give this a certain rating, suggestion, or approval. The copy I received seems to be some sort of sampler size and is only 15~ pages long, so this is not a review of the full or final product in any way.

First off, the story intro is interesting. I’m curious to see where it goes. I think the art style and colors chosen are gorgeous. I’m new to graphic novels, I have very little experience with them. I like how the speech bubbles carry over from one panel to the next, as well as the occasional scene. I don’t know if this is the norm, but it works. Finally, I appreciate how speech bubbles are occasionally not used and the text is incorporated into the art to not detract from the atmosphere.
